Speaking Biography:

Marie Diaz is a frequent speaker for business and community organizations. She also is an advocate for young women in the pursuit of leadership and entrepreneurship. She is inspirational, powerful and dynamic. By combining inspiring keynotes with skills-based training, Marie is able to bring about positive change.  

Ms. Diaz is the Chief Executive Officer / Chief Visionary Officer of Pursuit of Excellence Inc., a Dallas based company she founded in 1994. While independently working with Fortune 500 companies as an Organizational Development Consultant and Coach, Ms. Diaz in 1997 incorporated and expanded her business into a full scope of human resources offerings, including: HR Risk Management Consulting, Organizational Development and Training, Payroll Processing, and Employee Benefit Administration and Recruiting.

Every once in a while, you find a leader with a true gift for interpersonal influence that helps to create change, or an academic who truly possesses a comprehensive grasp of the complexities of leadership, or a teacher who is so gifted that they can explain powerful ideas in a way that will motivate and enable others to change. Her developmental approach is geared toward promoting participation, breaking down inefficiencies that inhibit productivity, and linking individual goals and pride of ownership with organizational objectives. She has taken the same approach and modified this to meet the needs of todays youth. She strongly believes that we cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future. While being a strong supporter for small business growth and entrepreneurship, Ms. Diaz is very passionate about the growth and success of her community, the people who make it a success and, most importantly, helping others succeed.

      <title>My Hero is "Larry, the Cable Guy"!</title>
      <description>Have you ever come to the end of your work day, looked around and said ,
"What did I actually get done today?"

Someone said, "You can have it all, you just can't have it all at once!"  Today, under the pressures we face for productivity and work overload, we think we can operate like a multitasking computer! 

When you think about it, though, even that multitasking computer doesn't try to work on two or three things at once! Several programs may be on the screen, and it is only working on one thing at a time!

Our minds are only capable of thinking one thought at a time. As a former instructor for the Silva Method of controlling our subconscious mind, I wrote the book "3 Ways 2 Succeed @1 Thing". In the book, and in my talks, we learn a process that will allow anyone to accomplish more every day!

      <title>Is Retirement the End...Or a Great New Beginning?</title>
      <description>With the Baby Boomers hitting the retirement age, lots of questions and lots of fears are coming up for them. In the 60's we used to say "Never trust anyone over 30". These are the same people today who are thinking "Never trust anyone under 60!"

As someone who is enjoying his fourth career as an author and keynote speaker, I can share methods that will allow anyone, at any age or any state of health, to sell their experience for more than it cost them, and create a comfortable passive income stream!

Not only that, since we are living longer today, most of us would like to do something that will allow us to "leave a fingerprint on the world" for generations yet to come.

In 2007 I lost my little sister to Cancer, shortly after her youngest son drowned in a boating accident. With traveling back and forth for family, I left my thriving company unattended and returned to close its doors. In December of that same year I acquired a brain injury from a freak accident. These events left me with only one thought after my recovery: 

"Follow every inspired thought toward a productive meaningful life that brings you joy, no matter what it takes or how long it takes, just do it."
