"Whats Your VPA?" Your Vision~Power~Action BluPrint to Success is on Motivational Radio with over 1.5 million listeners. Being on radio is wonderful, but when I talk about this in person to the participants I can see the transformation take place, which is why I love speaking engagements.

If you hire me as a speaker your listeners will understand what it means to have a clear VISION of what they most desire, whether it be a calling from God or a direction they choose. They'll understand what it means to tap into that internal POWER we all possess, and theyll understand that unless they develop inspiration to take ACTION in their lives, they may not grow.

My work bares testimony to how I live. Vision~Power~Action is my own VPA BluPrint to Success and I want to teach others how to walk the walk. Hopefully youll find this as fascinating as most do and youll be willing to talk about how I can help your participants. So feel free to connect with me here on Speaker match, or via any of the social media connections.

Thank you!

The Secret to Less Stress & More Success

In a 24/7 work climate, it's not smart to wait for vacation to renew. In fact, if your employees don't know how to refuel - in minutes - every day, I'll bet they're showing signs of stress. Like lack of focus, reduced enthusiasm, increased bickering, and even reduced productivity and increased sick days.

The bad news is stress is not going away - we'd better all figure out how to cope with doing more with less...without ruining our health!

The good news is...there are hundreds of ways employees can recharge in ten minutes or less...at work, at home, and en route.

Hold a meeting that says, "we care about you," and the benefits will be more than a bump in morale. You'll also see more resilience, better performance, and reduced costs from mistakes, absenteeism, and healthcare claims.

Empower employees to manage their energy, and everyone wins!<div class="feedflare">

AFRICAN AMERICAN VOICES FROM IWO JIMA

African-American Voices from Iwo Jima has captured their accounts of the life and times of a period in American history through the voices of eleven African Americans who participated in the Battle of Iwo Jima. The oral histories that they will share in this book include their service in one of the fiercest battles of World War II, the Battle of Iwo Jima. When the barriers to military service for African-Americans began to fall in the early 1940s, these men answered the call. They all agreed that they believed it was their duty to serve, even though they knew they would be required to do so in segregated units. That was the policy for the service of African-Americans during World War II. There were some exceptions, but most were assigned to support units, which were generally located in rear areas, rather than the front lines. A presidential Executive Order issued in 1948 began the process of desegregating the military, and in 1954 the last segregated unit was disbanded.

The interviewees will share with readers their personal experiences from the time they were born in the early 1900s, growing into adulthood during the Great Depression, the pre-World War II years, their military training, the thirty six day battle for Iwo Jima, coming home and the civil rights struggles that occurred during the 1950s and 1960s. One of them would be awarded the third highest award given for valor in the face of the enemy, the Silver Star Medal and another would remain in the military after World War II, participate in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts and retire from active duty with twenty-six years of service. Most would be discharged, return to their families and pursue careers as civilians. Segregation and racial discrimination continued to be a way of life for them until the passage of the Civil Rights Act in 1964. They all believed that they would never live to see that happen or the election of an African-American president.

Dr. Willies educational and military background has clearly prepared him for the task of preserving the oral histories included in this book. He was reared in a military family and graduated from high school on a military installation in Germany. His surroundings, during those years, nurtured a keen interest in the military, world history and World War II. In college, he pursued those interests by majoring in social studies and history. When he graduated from college, he entered the United States Marine Corps and became intrigued with the service of African-Americans in the military. After twenty-two years of service, he retired from the Marine Corps as a lieutenant colonel, became a high school history teacher, earned a doctoral degree in educational leadership and retired from the profession of education as a school district superintendent.

He has now developed a keen interest in documenting the service of African-Americans in the military. In that regard, he initiated an effort which culminated in the production of a documentary that has aired on national television and introduced its viewers to the first African-Americans to serve as United States Marines. And now, by way of this book, Dr. Willie has recorded and preserved some new perspectives to add to that body of knowledge about the Battle of Iwo Jima and the service of eleven African-Americans who participated in that conflict for history that could have been lost forever.<div class="feedflare">

Dreams are for sale, but can you afford the payments!

The most difficult thing to do is to try and convince someone that they are worthy to have there dream. Most people except the life they were given, and most individuauls were told that they would never amount to anything. Fortunely some refuse to except that as there reality.. I truly believe that human beings possess the ability to shape there life and there world in the manner they wish to experience it! I understand through my trainig and my expreiences in life how to facilitate that reality. My message is geared, not only to motivate but to stimilate, rejuvinate and invigurate by the proecss of reaching into mind and subconcous mind were a ture change will take place. It's designed to cause movement on the part of the individual who is stimulated by the message, instead of just thinking about doing something!<div class="feedflare">

2-Day Workshop: Strategic Planning: A BMR Exploration

Far more important than the strategic plan document, is the strategic planning process itself. Business Management Review (BMR) focuses on what gives life and meaning to an organization and brings you face-to-face with whats working and whats not. Encouraging innovative thinking, participants control their own brainstorming process first by contributing their own ideas and then considering the ideas of others. It shifts the focus from one of deficit-thinking, where organizations spend most of their time analyzing their problems and remembering what they did wrong, to a strength-based approach that hones in on the organizations best face and moves toward making it even better.

The BMR session, presented by Working InSync (WIS) is the process of developing a shared vision of your organizations future, and the major steps you will take to move the organization in that direction. Simply put, it is the process of determining where the organization is going over coming years, how you're going to get there, and how you will know when you've succeeded. The result of a BMR strategic planning process is clarity about vision and priorities.

We first help you translate your broad goals into specific, measurable objectives that define achievement of the goal. We then help you translate the measurable objectives into specific strategies for action by identifying barriers and critical success factors.

During these two days away from the office, WIS facilitates a series of conversations where the team comes face-to-face with strategic planning issues affecting the present and future condition of their business. During the BMR session the team co-creates and aligns around its vision, mission, and values as well as its annual objectives, strategies and action plans. In this BMR forum, the group members are able to comment freely and honestly, while giving a structured thought process to keep the discussion focused. Participants have a say on all topics, regardless of their functional area of expertise. Providing an outcome whereas individuals are encouraged to think strategically by considering all focus areas, not just their own.

So what is strategic planning? Everyone has heard the term ---but what exactly does it mean? Strategic planning is a disciplined process for making decisions and taking actions that shape and guide what an organization is, what it wishes to do, and how it intends to do it.

When properly implemented, BMR strategic planning is a results and outcome oriented process. Some of the advantages of BMR strategic planning are as follows:
  **Present a clear corporate alignment.
  **Stimulate forward thinking.
**Create a shared understanding about what the organization is trying to achieve and how it will go about achieving it.
  **Increase productivity.
**Enable the organization to influence rather than be influenced.

Peopleware: Leading-Edge Management Apps that Work!

Communication can make or break a project team. This includes communication among team members as well as communication between the project manager and the rest of the team. Communication may come in many different forms and cause problems within the team (e.g., failure to deal with problems). Failure to deal with a problem employee is still the most common complaint that team members have about their leaders. Failure to deal with a problem employee can undermine the morale and motivation of the rest of the team and its members.

Have you ever been mismanaged? 95% of WIS seminar participants said they were mismanaged but they did not discuss it with the person who was managing them. Are you ready to discover how your managers are viewed by their direct reports and learn to bring out the best level of productivity and performance from your staff?

This leading-edge transformation will be facilitated by Whit Mitchell of Working InSync who has demonstrated that his processes and methods have helped hundreds of clients to create more open and honest relationships leading to greater impact and influence in their communication channels throughout their businesses.

The workshop is based on the DISC Behavioral Profile, an assessment tool that heightens awareness of one's own behaviors and those of others. DISC has been used by General Mills, Kraft, Northwest Airlines, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tandy Corp., Toyota, Trane, TD Industries, Frymire Engineering, and many others.

Every participant will get the opportunity to complete an online DISC profile (prior to the workshop) to assess their Project Management style. Each DISC Profile assessment provides clients with a 26-page profile that includes a detailed and personalized report of a clients individual behavioral style. It also includes background on the DISC Model and descriptions of other common behavioral styles. In turn, this interactive workshop will raise awareness for how to recognize others styles. This information can be utilized to engage teams and improve your communication with all levels of management.

Client Testimonial - Transforming Under-Performing Companies into High Performance Operations:

Conflict: Our people are smart, but their project management and poor interpersonal skills often result in projects being late, over budget and short of client expectations. Is there any way to create a culture of accountability and commitment with a group of independent professionals? Technology (Global High Tech Firm)

Resolution -We were 100% over budget in money and time. We asked Working InSync to get us back on track and the project was completed in 90 days. WOW!

Conflict: The larger we have grown, the more waste and rework we do. I know this is costing our bottom line and I keep attacking the problem. In spite of my best efforts, the problems keep popping up like a game of whack a mole. Manufacturing (Precision Mfg Firm)

Resolution- I documented savings of over $400,000 in the first year after the training we received from Working InSync. Our profit rose 8.5% and our staff is excited about finding more ways to improve quality and save money at the same time.

Adapting Selling Styles to Ignite Buying

In sales, from time to time we develop bad habits. We take short cuts. As we get to know more about our products we talk more and listen less. To the buyer we could appear to be just robots pushing a sales agenda.

Why is it salespeople can build relationships so easily and quickly with some buyers and cannot with others? Could it be as simple as a personality mismatch?

Behavioral Selling is a step-by-step course of approach in understanding your behavioral style and the ability to recognize a buyers behavioral preferences and expectations.
The Power Within: Re-engaging the Workforce for Recovery and Growth

In todays economic environment, employers are struggling to find every advantage possible to thrive, grow or simply to stay in business. The biggest question yet to be answered, Have they looked within? There is undeveloped talent within each organization that can be cultivated to better position the firm for future success. Mapping out a strategic plan to ensure you have the right talent in place to take full advantage of the recovery should now be not only an HR issue, but a business imperative. It means that companies must be proactive in forecasting their human capital needs in advance.

Whit Mitchell of WIS, will lead an enlightening conversation on how the recruiting landscape is being transformed to respond to a whole new set of challenges and opportunities. Why engagement matters more today than ever before and how best to cultivate undeveloped talent within. You will be surprised how many of those top performers may very well be found within the organization. Each participant will walk away with the knowledge to answer the most sought after questions affecting the industry today:

   * How do top performers impact the bottom line?
   * What do top performers want?
   * How can we identify top performers?
   * How and where do we find top performers?

"Whit Mitchell speaks from the heart... His high value content speeches are mixed beautifully with a sense of humor and storytelling that capture the imagination of his audience in a remarkable way."

Decoding the Communication Challenge

Leaders must possess the ability to build relationships - with clients, with colleagues, with professionals and non-professionals - with everyone relevant to the success of an engagement or transaction. Leaders at all levels rely heavily on people skills; solving problems, decision-making, encouragement, planning, coaching and motivating. Technical skills (hard skills; easy to quantify and measure) get you in the door, but soft skills keep you in the job. In other words, good leadership relies on advanced soft skills. Through this session you will learn to:

***Understand the benefits of applying a behavioral communication model
    ***Understand your own behavioral design
***Recognize, understand and appreciate others behavioral designs
***Adapt for increased communication, sales, understanding and relationships
***Learn to people read all four factors

Warm, amusing and down-to-earth, Whit combines his great sense of humor with his extensive business experience to deliver an unforgettable seminar designed to motivate and inspire you to take action. Participants can count on leaving with three key tips and one action step for inspiring greater achievement. Tips that help you obtain a more thorough understanding of who you are, and move you to thinking about a process of self-actualization which maximizes inner strength and minimizes the effect of self doubt.

"Our supplier was about to shut us off because of conflict between our teams. The results would have been disastrous, with millions of dollars lost on both sides. We suggested using WIS to help us re-establish positive communications, fresh commitments and mutual accountability. Today, our relationship is the strongest it has ever beenthanks to the expert skills of Whit Mitchell at WIS."

As Far as Our Eyes can See

Whenever we can see the world through other eyes, we see something new. Imagine taking the time to consciously see a particular change initiative through the eyes of others. Not only does Whit Mitchell of WIS, make this paradigm clear, but he offers concrete and practical ways to change our mind's eye and as a consequence change our actions and the results we get. The value of this seminar is hard to top.

After attending this insightful exchange you will be able to recognize and understand the six motivators or filters that all people use to process information and make decisions, unlocking the potential to communicate or sell more effectively.
Learn how to:

*Know which of the 6 motivators drive your life, actions and decisions.
*Understand each motivator and the interaction of each.
*Recognize the driving forces in others lives.
*Understand others viewpoints and be able to dialogue convincingly by seeing the world through their eyes.

Participants will walk away with a renewed spirit and ready to embrace the idea of letting go of established ideas, assumptions and practices, and see the world with new eyes. Empowering a leadership connection with who they are and what they care most deeply about.

"Whit, I wanted to thank you in regards to the Tuck program last year. At the start I was very uncomfortable with the process because of the in depth exposure of my personal management style. The mirror I was forced to look through... was eye opening and frankly painful at times. Your insight in how to read the data and take the emotion out of the information my; directs, peers and customers provided was very helpful."

Total Team Concept from an NBA All Star!
T.E.A.M. = Together Each Achieves More

Nothing epitomizes me more than TEAM!

That's what I've always been about and that's the only way that I believe that true success is realized.

I played for 20 years as a professional athlete and was an NBA All Star while playing for the Dallas Mavericks. I've been parts of great teams and terrible teams and guess what?,... there's a thin line that separates them!

Now run and operate a small business in which teamwork is crucial and we do it beautifully!

I talk to teams in athletics, business, community and life. How to best work together to achieve common goals and maintain teamwork.

I am the author of Standing Above The Crowd: Success Strategies in Athletics, Business, Community & Life in which I share a host of strategies that everyone can implement in becoming the best they can be!<div class="feedflare">

NBA All Star & Professional Athlete To Speak To Your Group!

Throughout my 20 years as a professional athlete and NBA All-Star, I've developed specific strategies to motivate athletes, teams and young people to achieve their goals and to work together in a team concept.

There is so much more to leading and achieving success than just showing up. It takes motivation, desire to be the best, positive attitudes and discipline. I talk about all those things and more in my presentations.

I am the author of Standing Above The Crowd: Success Strategies in Athletics, Business, Community & Life in which I share a host of strategies that everyone can implement in becoming the best they can be!

I speak to all age groups and all athletic teams and groups!<div class="feedflare">

African Americans Leading the Way!

Are you working with an African-American group or community that would benefit from hearing uplifting information about the great contributions of our culture? Would you like it to be known and shown that there are a multitude of roads to success available for every African-American man, woman, boy or girl? African Americans throughout history have made significant contributions that many times have gone unnoticed.... our communities (and especially young people) need to know these things!

I share my strategies of success in the worlds of athletics, business, community and life in a message that is culturally relevant and resonates with our communities. I share my experience is in resisting being put into a stereotypical box, and breaking through all stereotypes to become successful in every field that I've engaged in.

African Americans are a great people and we need to be shown that we have the ability to do just thing and everything that we set our mind to do.... just look at the tremendous accomplishments of President Obama already!<div class="feedflare">

Speaking Biography:

Marie Diaz is a frequent speaker for business and community organizations. She also is an advocate for young women in the pursuit of leadership and entrepreneurship. She is inspirational, powerful and dynamic. By combining inspiring keynotes with skills-based training, Marie is able to bring about positive change.

Ms. Diaz is the Chief Executive Officer / Chief Visionary Officer of Pursuit of Excellence Inc., a Dallas based company she founded in 1994. While independently working with Fortune 500 companies as an Organizational Development Consultant and Coach, Ms. Diaz in 1997 incorporated and expanded her business into a full scope of human resources offerings, including: HR Risk Management Consulting, Organizational Development and Training, Payroll Processing, and Employee Benefit Administration and Recruiting.

Every once in a while, you find a leader with a true gift for interpersonal influence that helps to create change, or an academic who truly possesses a comprehensive grasp of the complexities of leadership, or a teacher who is so gifted that they can explain powerful ideas in a way that will motivate and enable others to change. She has worked with many organizations and community leaders to transfer the skills, principles and strategies required to achieve sustainable success in the toughest of environments. She is a master at influencing change around persistence and issues of profound importance. A great leader's courage to fulfill their vision comes from passion, not position. Leaders must be close enough to relate to others, but far enough ahead to motivate them.

As a young Latina and a single mother raising three young boys, this posed a challenge to Ms. Diaz. She has learned to balance her family and build a multi-million dollar business from the ground up. She draws upon her experiences to help others overcome adversity on their road to success. Success doesnt come to you; you go to it! says Ms. Diaz. This has been a motto she has lived by for many years.

As a mentor trainer and facilitator, she has fortified a proven approach for helping client's master problem-solving skills while planning and making critical decisions within their organizations and communities. In the field of people training and development, she leads the way in helping businesses unleash superior performance. Her developmental approach is geared toward promoting participation, breaking down inefficiencies that inhibit productivity, and linking individual goals and pride of ownership with organizational objectives. She has taken the same approach and modified this to meet the needs of todays youth. She strongly believes that we cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future. While being a strong supporter for small business growth and entrepreneurship, Ms. Diaz is very passionate about the growth and success of her community, the people who make it a success and, most importantly, helping others succeed.

Be prepared to participate and have fun as Ms. Diaz is known for the interactivity of her presentations. She has a natural talent for engaging the audience with a combination of insight, sincerity, and enthusiasm and delivers her message in a way that leaves her listeners a little wiser about the subject at hand. Her unique training concepts provide the tools necessary to facilitate power packed, experiential learning programs. The facilitator guides include, dynamic Power Point presentations, flip charts, handouts and client-involved learning exercises.

Do you know how to reach overall success in life?
What do you do with your time? Are your goals your reality?

Time is the utmost valuable commodity you have!!! Are you battling with letting go? change?

We must accept the simple fact in life; IT IS ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS!!! The relationships you build with your energy level, with your time and with your money. Relationships you build with your loved ones, family members and friends. The relationships you build throughout your school years, your career and your business affiliates. Without relationships nothing happens.

Do you know what are the 5 facets of relationships and what the difference is between a personal relationship and a business relationship?

Are you aware of the 5 questions you must ask yourself before you introduce your goals into your reality?

I have created a program based on my book titled 'THE CIRCLE OF SUCCESS' ETM providing tools and formulas how to master:

- Letting go
- Change
- Introduce your goals into your reality

This program is producing realistic and effective and powerful results within 90 days of application.

I am looking forward to presenting my expertise to you in all areas of business, business relationships, personal relationships, time management, energy management and money management, shifting your life from stress to overall success and reaching all 5 levels of pleasure throughout your journey.<div class="feedflare">
